Bus Éireann proposes establishing a Multi-Party Framework for the purpose of awarding a Contract or Contracts for the provision of Inspection and reapplication of vehicle anti-corrosion under-body treatment for a three-year period. Bus Éireann reserves the right to extend this Framework Agreement for a further period of 12 or 24 months. It is proposed on awarding a contract or Contracts for the inspection and the complete re-application of anti-corrosion treatment in accordance with the manufacturers' specification. The contract(s) shall include double-deck city buses, single-deck city buses, and single-deck coaches. The vehicles are based in Bus Éireann garages nationwide and the contract will be divided into Lots which are as follows: Lot 1: West Region (Athlone, Ballina, Galway, Longford, Sligo and Stranorlar), Lot 2: Eastern Region (Dublin, Cavan, Drogheda, Dundalk), Lot 3: Southern Region: (Cork City, Skibereen, Waterford, Wexford), Lot 4: Southwest Region (Limerick, Thurles, Tralee). Within each Lot, Bus Éireann may award a contract with one or more tenderers based on the capacity of participants to complete the work. The successful tenderer/tenderers will be required and responsible for the collection and return of Bus Éireann vehicles to undergo Inspections and Anti-Corrosion underbody Retreatment from the above-mentioned locations as required.
