Tenders are sought for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Validation of a Live Cell Imaging system, to the School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, University College Cork (UCC). Research in the School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology is directed by Principal Investigator’s (PIs) and our Research Themes spans the biomedical, biotechnological and environmental science areas. All of the modern tools of molecular/cellular biology, protein biochemistry, molecular genetics, signal transduction, immunology, bioinformatics and analytical biochemistry are used to address fundamental and applied research questions in these challenging areas. The requirement is for a multiuser live cell imaging system designed to capture real-time images of living cells under controlled environmental conditions. The system must support long-term imaging without compromising cell viability and allow multiple researchers to access and operate the equipment efficiently, ensuring high throughput and collaborative use.
