Tenderers will be required provide maintenance service for an initial period of five years with option to extend on three (3) occasions for twenty-four (24) months. To support this, the deployment of winter preparedness machinery is vital in mitigating risks associated with ice, frost, and snow, ensuring the continued safety of personnel, the smooth flow of trade, and the reliability of passenger services. To meet these operational needs, Dublin Port specifically requires the provision of a permanently mounted gritter. This equipment will ensure consistent and reliable winter treatment of the internal road network, reducing reliance on temporary or manual measures, and guaranteeing that critical transport routes within the port always remain safe and accessible.
