The Minister for Health (the “Contracting Authority”) is issuing this request for tenders (“RFT”) as a central purchasing body for use by the Non-Statutory Inquiry into the Historical Licensing and Use of Sodium Valproate in Women of Childbearing Potential in the State (the “the Framework Client”) (The Contracting Authority invites tenders (“Tenders”) from economic operators (“Tenderers”) for appointment to a multi-supplier framework agreement (the “Framework Agreement”) for the provision of the services as described in Appendix 1 to this RFT (the “Services”). For the purposes of this RFT, the term ‘Documentary Counsel’ refers to an individual legal practitioner – either a practising solicitor or practising barrister and does not include a firm of solicitors or any other legal entity.
