Green Tech Skillnet are seeking to support the design and delivery of a pilot entry-level solar PV installation bootcamp for 15 learners facing barriers to employment (e.g. long term unemployed, non degree holders, living in disadvantaged communities). The bootcamp should run for 6-7 weeks, covering both technical and non-technical job skills, and should prepare learners to begin a life-changing career in PV solar installation, meeting a key emerging Irish skills need. The proposal should include the recruitment strategy to find suitable candidates, end-to-end support to learners, including profession-specific education, employability coaching, career mentorship, interview preparation, and job placement.
