2. Scope of Work

Monaghan County Council requires the services of a Security Company licensed by the Private Security Authority (PSA) to install an IP CCTV system in Carrickmacross Town Centre, Co. Monaghan. The system will comprise of a total of 18 cameras, Multi-Sensor, Bullet and Dome types, installed at 15 locations throughout Carrickmacross Town Centre. All cameras, with the exception of camera 18 which will be hard wired, will be linked by means of a wireless transmission network to a CCTV Server installed at the Market House building in Carrickmacross Town Centre. Cameras will be installed on a combination of new camera poles, existing public lighting poles and buildings. The installation of new camera poles, power supplies and associated civil works is being undertaken by others. Civil and electrical contractors will liaise with the CCTV contractor during the CCTV installation works. Cat5 or Cat6 cables will be in place at all camera locations. Supply and installation of interface boxes for PoE switches and data cabling between the PoE switch and cameras on buildings to be undertaken by the CCTV contractor. Termination of all data cabling by the CCTV contractor. Monaghan County Council reserves the right to proceed with some or all the CCTV locations.
