*SEUPB PEACEPLUS Funded Project** The works will upgrade the existing shower facilities of changing halls 1 and 2 and one staff toilet. These upgrades will increase user comfort creating a much more welcoming and acceptable environment, The facilities and surfaces finishes will be upgraded. The entire works are confined to the immediate areas of Changing Halls 1 and 2, and the existing Staff Toilet. • Disconnection and removal of all existing shower fittings, cubicles, WHB’s, WC pans, associated plumbing and wastewater pipes • Disconnection and removal of existing Electrical Fittings, Adjustments of existing Electrical Fittings and new electrical work • Removal of existing screen panels, vanity cabinetry, cistern encasements, mirrors, toilet roll holders, towel rails, hooks and miscellaneous fittings • Demolish and removal of existing blockwork partition walls as indicated • Removal of existing floor tiles from shower areas, break up and remove existing floor screed • Removal of existing floor drainage fittings • Re-screed existing floor in shower areas to acceptable falls • Install new floor drainage fittings and new selected non-slip flooring, with waterproof joints and coved skirting upstands • Upgrade of wall and ceiling finishes, cladding etc. • Install new forced ventilation systems • Install new shower control fittings and shower heads together with associated plumbing • Install new sanitaryware • Install farmed shower cubicle systems, framed vanity units, cistern encasements, all necessary edge and pipe trims etc. • Painting and Decorating, walls and joinery • Install fixtures, fittings and signage
